Also commonly called Sewak or Miswak, this natural toothbrush has been used for centuries in Middle Eastern and African societies as a traditional method of maintaining oral hygiene.

Rinse the Miswak stick thoroughly before use. Gently chew or peel away approximately 1–2 cm of the outer bark from one end to expose the natural bristles. Soften the exposed end by gently chewing it until the fibres separate and form a brush-like tip. Use the Miswak to gently brush the teeth and along the gum line, using light strokes. After use, rinse the bristles thoroughly with clean water and allow them to air-dry. When the bristles become worn or used, cut off the used portion and prepare a fresh section of the Miswak stick. For oral use only. Do not swallow the fibres or bark.
After each use, rinse the Miswak thoroughly with clean water and gently shake off excess moisture. Store it in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place and allow the exposed bristles to air-dry before storing. Keep the Miswak away from excessive heat, direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Do not store it in a completely sealed container while it is still wet, as this may affect its freshness and quality. Trim the used bristles regularly and prepare a fresh section as needed. Replace the Miswak when it becomes excessively dry, damaged, or no longer suitable for use. For oral use only. Keep out of reach of children.
